One of the nicest roads of the Riviera of Cusio connects the lake to the Mottarone, which is the mountain that separates Lake Orta from Lake Maggiore, and from where you can enjoy a view that has no equal. This is a very fascinating road because at every turn the environment seems to change, at one curve you have a Mediterranean feel, on the next one you have a mountain feel. All of this is on a 15-minute road.

At the beginning of this road, there is Borgata Cheggino, which is a small neighborhood consisting of houses that all share the same fresh, clean and independent environment, but are not isolated.

This is a semi-detached house, consisting of a very characteristic living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a big habitable kitchen, and a bathroom. On the upper floor there are 3 wide bedrooms, with a balcony facing the mountain and the lake, and a bathroom with a shower, and a storage room.

The town of Armeno is very close and it offers everything that you might need: a butcher, a grocery store, the post office, the pharmacy, and a supermarket. Practically the town has everything that the other towns facing the Lake are missing, and that is why it is much appreciated for its commodity.

Arises to on the hills above Lake Orta at an altitude of 523 meters above sea level. It is the northernmost town in the province and one of the largest geographically.

Not far you can find the Mottarone with its small but sunny slopes and exceptional views of the lake Orta on Lake Maggiore.

The village where the house is located is called Sovazza, whose name comes from the Latin, according to an interpretation would mean “comfortable place.” This town is located on Two Rivers Road, which joins Lake Orta to the largest (and perhaps the most famous) Lake Maggiore.

On the origin of this hamlet, they are missing the secure documents. Some legends say that it was born as a result of some wealthy nobles from the Riviera di San Giulio, who fled following the barbarian invasions.
